Anupam K. Mohanty, M.D. - Internal Medicine and Liver Disease

Dr. Bob (Anupam K. Mohanty, M.D.), is a Board-certified doctor of Internal Medicine and specialist of Liver Disease. He is an Associate Professor of Medicine who gained international recognition as an author in the New England Journal of Medicine and as a collaborator with NBC television drama, "House, M.D."

He has served as peer-review editor for The Lancet and presented his research at scientific conferences internationally, receiving a Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Fellowship Award for studies of the liver.

Born in Philadelphia, Dr. Bob became an Eagle Scout and studied at the University of Pennsylvania. He dual-majored in Literature and Biology while rowing crew. Under the mentorship of his father and Steven M. Altschuler, M.D., he learned the basics of clinical and academic medicine at a young age. He continued his training at institutions such as Temple Medical School, Harvard Medical School, and the University of Miami.

He is fluent in English and Spanish.
